Midnight Poetry is an Athens-based darkwave and electronic project built on high-aesthetic gothic romance and sharp, modern electronic design. Centered around the dynamic presence and evocative vocals of Cleopatra Kaido, Midnight Poetry has quickly stood out as a rising project in the international underground scene. In April 2026, they released their debut album "Dive into the Darkness" on CD and vinyl through the renowned Manic Depression Records, earning widespread acclaim from major outlets like Post-Punk.com, Side-Line Magazine, Unter-Ton (DE) and White Light // White Heat.
Following the success of their debut material, Midnight Poetry enters a new chapter. Cleopatra Kaido is now joined by prominent DJ and Electrospank magazine founder Achilleas C. Together, the duo is currently channeling their shared vision into fresh, dark electronic compositions, seamlessly blending classic coldwave and synth elements with modern club energy.
With Cleopatra’s theatrical, versatile voice leading the narrative, described by critics as shifting effortlessly between haunting elegance and electronic power, Midnight Poetry is actively crafting their upcoming music, ready to move forward into brand new sound paths.
